Return and Refund Policy

At Bateman Original Designs, every item is individually designed and handcrafted. Due to the unique nature of our products, each piece may vary slightly, making every creation one of a kind.

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect choice, or if you simply decide you no longer want the item.

Please choose carefully before placing your order. If you have any questions before purchasing, we are happy to assist.

If your order arrives damaged or you believe your item has a manufacturing fault, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

Please email info@batemanoriginaldesigns.com.au and include:

• Your order number 
• A description of the issue 
• Clear photographs of the item and packaging 

We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, offer a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

As every item is handmade, slight variations in colour, embellishments, placement, and materials are considered part of the character of each design and are not regarded as faults.

Where a return is approved due to a fault, we will advise you of the return process.

For returns that are not due to a fault, return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

Custom-made, personalised, or commissioned items cannot be returned or exchanged unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
